Case Study 5
Creative Content Production, Community Engagement, and Event-focused Social Strategy for Guernsey Together Festival
While working at Buzz, a marketing agency based in Guernsey, I managed the social media accounts for Guernsey Together Festival, a local music festival focused on bringing together live music, entertainment, and community experiences.
The primary objectives were to increase ticket sales, raise awareness of performers and ticket packages, and grow the festival’s social presence across Facebook and Instagram.
To support these goals, I developed and managed a content strategy designed to build excitement and maintain audience engagement in the lead-up to the event. This included artist announcements, promotional campaigns, countdown content, behind-the-scenes posts, ticket package promotions, and interactive social content aimed at increasing audience participation and engagement.
Alongside managing the festival’s social channels, I also creatively directed merchandise photoshoots to produce branded lifestyle content that could be used across social media and promotional campaigns. In the weeks leading up to the festival, I documented the on-site build process, creating behind-the-scenes content that gave audiences insight into the preparation and scale of the event while building anticipation online.
During the two-day festival itself, I produced and captured live social content in real time, documenting performances, crowd moments, branded experiences, and the overall atmosphere of the event. This helped create an engaging live-event experience for both attendees and online audiences while generating shareable content that extended the festival’s reach beyond the event itself.
By combining creative content production, community engagement, and event-focused social strategy, the campaign helped strengthen the festival’s online presence, increase audience engagement, and support overall ticket awareness and sales through social media marketing.
